What is breast screening?
Breast screening also known as a mammogram is getting your breast screened by an x-ray. It takes no longer than five minutes to have the x-ray. Almost one third of breast cancers are picked up through the breast screening.
Nine out of ten breast lumps are harmless, but everyone should be checked by a doctor. Finding cancer early means smpler treatment and better chance of recovery.
